Travel is stressful, as a flight attendant who lives in Denver and is based in Las Vegas, I can tell you firsthand that the flying experience is very stressful and you come across many last-minute challenges. I fly a variety of different airlines and each one handles things slightly differently, so you have to be prepared. Not only do airlines operate differently, but so does each airport. Below I’m going to give you some ways to better prepare for the flight and to better prepare for your arrival at the airport.

I don’t know about you, but I always learn so much about what I should have done on a trip…after the fact. I usually make a mental note of things to do differently the next time I’m in the country or city. So, here is my list of tips before going to Puerto Rico. They are simple, but hopefully, helpful.

The Springs Resort & Spa is THE hotel to stay at while in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Why? Because it is the photo you see when you google Pagosa Springs. It’s the hotel that pops up time and time again when researching the small town. They have the largest number of hot springs in one place. Yes, you heard that right.

Plus, it’s beautiful. Just google the photos.

Meet Mari & Alessandro

Hola! I’m Maribel Casas, most people call me Mari. When traveling, I love to connect with the locals and learn about their food, customs, and daily lives. Traveling to experience the richness of a culture is what truly makes my heart happy. I love pulling over on the side of the road to try local food or fruit, taking a cooking class, or going on an excursion to see what beautiful nooks and crannies the world has to offer.

Alessandro is a happy one-year-old explorer who started traveling at six months. While on an airplane, he giggles during turbulence and loves to look out the window. He loves to seek adventure by learning to climb rocks and copying animal sounds. While different foods are not his priority, playing with local kids is.
